3DS XL / Animal Crossing Review ♥

So the reason I haven't been present lately (I'm sorry for that by the way) is because I was recently given a 3DS XL and Animal Crossing New Leaf! I'm here to do a review on both the 3DS and the game.  I know I'm kind of late in reviewing this since the game came out in June. Better late than never, right? If you're a fan of the last Animal Crossing games, you'll absolutely love this game.

3DS ♥

So I got the 3DS XL in Pink/White. It's the cutest thing ever! The outside color is the prettiest pastel pink ever. The inside is white. The 3DS available in a bunch of different colors and when a big game is being released Nintendo will come out with a special edition 3DS that goes with the game.
The features include:
♥ Camera (front and inside cameras)
♥ Sound - a cute application that lets you record and play around with your recordings
♥ Mii Maker
♥ Mii Plaza
♥ Nintendo eShop - a store where you can buy and download apps and games
♥ AR Games - the 3ds comes with AR Cards. These cards are meant to be placed on a flat surface and you can play interactive games using your camera
♥ Face Raiders - another interactive game that uses pictures of faces which you can take with the camera
♥ Activity Log - this is just to keep track of how long you play on what
♥ Nintendo Zone - when in a 'nintendo zone', you can download cool things that pertain to the games you play
♥ Download Play - you can download demos of games and play them in multiplayer or alone
♥ Swap Note - a cute app that allows you to send drawn out messages to friends

You can also download cool stuff like Netflix and Youtube!

It's a great console and it's the best for beginner and expert gamers alike!

Animal Crossing New Leaf ♥ 

I got Animal Crossing New Leaf and oh my gosh I'm addicted. I can never really do a full review on it because Animal Crossing changes everyday and everyday has something new to it. So I can never really give you a guys a legit account on the game play since, also, the game tailors itself to different players. 

It's such a cute game, and I seriously just can't get enough of it! Sometimes its a struggle to wait for certain shops to open! 

The game goes on a cycle just like real life. If its 3 pm in real life, its 3 pm in the game. If its raining in real life, its raining in the game. The game also has holidays like Halloween and Christmas! 

Animal Crossing also has a cool feature called Dream Suite. You can go to different towns and explore all being in a dream state. One of the many neat features that make this game the great game it is!

I highly recommend these two items! They're amazing 10/10 on both. I don't know if my love of cute things is impinging on my ability to rate this game realistically but I will say this:

If you don't like doing things over and over you probably won't like this game. That's really the only thing I can say to be a downside.

Boyfriend Appreciation ♥

This post has nothing to do with make up, or a game, or anything like what I've been doing. I thought I'd use this blog as a platform to express some feelings about a person so near and dear to my heart, my amazing boyfriend David.

(Isn't he cute?) ((Don't answer that)) (((Only I can say that)))

David and I have been dating since the end of last summer and I've just been the happiest I've ever been in the past couple of months. Meeting him seemed to be fate in all honesty! So many things just fell into place and made our friendship blossom into the best relationship I've ever had. Growing feelings for him seemed so natural and even though we took things very slowly, our relationship is the funnest ride I've ever been on!

I can never thank him enough for all he's done for me and all he's helped me through. He was there for me when I went through some really horrible things and I try my hardest each and every day to be there for him and repay him in love, hugs, and kisses (and occasionally fast food) for all the wonderful things he does for me.

He makes me the happiest person on Earth!

And I want to publicly thank him for everything. Every hug, every kiss, every sweet act, everything this amazing person has ever done for me. I didn't have to ask him to, and I want to let him know in this public way that I appreciate it all so much.

December Favorites ♥

Okay so I know it's not December anymore, but I figured I'd still share my December Favorites with you!! These are just some things I could not get enough of last month. Since I started my blog in the middle of December, I would like to keep posting these monthly favorites and just share some of the things that I loved!

I've been going crazy watching all my shows recently! I thought I'd share some of my favorite anime series at the moment! I've taken the liberty to post a non spoiler summary along with the screen caps in case you all want to watch.

♥Shirokuma Cafe (しろくまカフェ Shirokuma Kafe, -> Polar Bear's Café) 
     This anime revolves around the everyday lives of a group of animals mingling with humans at a café run by a polar bear. Very cute and very funny!

♥ Puella Magi Madoka Magica (魔法少女まどか☆マギカ Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika, "Magical Girl Madoka of the Magus") An anime series about Magical Girls, sometimes it gets a little intense but it's an amazingly well written anime. 

♥ Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人 Shingeki no Kyojin, lit. "Advancing Giants") It is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason, the main characters join the Survey Corps, an elite group of soldiers who fight Titans outside the walls.

Christmas Haul ♥

Merry Christmas Day everyone! I hope you all have a great day with your loved ones and I hope you all got really excited over your Christmas gifts! I know this year was really stressful in finding the perfect gift for my family and friends, but it all played out so well and I'm really glad they liked it! I thought I'd share with you the stuff that I received this year. My family and I open presents later on Christmas Eve since we all can't wait till' Christmas morning, so imagine me looking at the clock all day just itching to open my gifts. Needless to say I was so happy!!!

Hi guys! I'm basically just going to introduce myself in this first blog post just so you know a little bit about me, and the stuff I want to share with you! I really don't have a particular theme set for this blog... I'm kind of just going to wing it, and write about all sorts of stuff that have to do with me. My name's Maria and I live in South Texas! It's hot here year round, which isn't the most pleasant thing ever, but I love it here nonetheless. I'm 17 but I have the mentality of a 9 year old. By that I mean, that I just adore cute things. I love cartoons and I have way too many stuffed animals. I live with my wonderful family and grumpy old yorkie. I have an amazing boyfriend and he is just too sweet and too fun! I love my friends and I like to hang out a lot and my favorite thing to do is get frozen yogurt! Strawberry Kiwi is the business. I'm pretty much a normal teenager just living life one day at a time.
