I just recently fell in love with the show Bee and PuppyCat! A youtube series that came out this last summer.
The artwork is very reminecent of Adventure Time and the creator Natasha Allegri has such beautiful work! She's so talented.

3DS XL / Animal Crossing Review ♥

So the reason I haven't been present lately (I'm sorry for that by the way) is because I was recently given a 3DS XL and Animal Crossing New Leaf! I'm here to do a review on both the 3DS and the game.  I know I'm kind of late in reviewing this since the game came out in June. Better late than never, right? If you're a fan of the last Animal Crossing games, you'll absolutely love this game.

3DS ♥

So I got the 3DS XL in Pink/White. It's the cutest thing ever! The outside color is the prettiest pastel pink ever. The inside is white. The 3DS available in a bunch of different colors and when a big game is being released Nintendo will come out with a special edition 3DS that goes with the game.
The features include:
♥ Camera (front and inside cameras)
♥ Sound - a cute application that lets you record and play around with your recordings
♥ Mii Maker
♥ Mii Plaza
♥ Nintendo eShop - a store where you can buy and download apps and games
♥ AR Games - the 3ds comes with AR Cards. These cards are meant to be placed on a flat surface and you can play interactive games using your camera
♥ Face Raiders - another interactive game that uses pictures of faces which you can take with the camera
♥ Activity Log - this is just to keep track of how long you play on what
♥ Nintendo Zone - when in a 'nintendo zone', you can download cool things that pertain to the games you play
♥ Download Play - you can download demos of games and play them in multiplayer or alone
♥ Swap Note - a cute app that allows you to send drawn out messages to friends

You can also download cool stuff like Netflix and Youtube!

It's a great console and it's the best for beginner and expert gamers alike!

Animal Crossing New Leaf ♥ 

I got Animal Crossing New Leaf and oh my gosh I'm addicted. I can never really do a full review on it because Animal Crossing changes everyday and everyday has something new to it. So I can never really give you a guys a legit account on the game play since, also, the game tailors itself to different players. 

It's such a cute game, and I seriously just can't get enough of it! Sometimes its a struggle to wait for certain shops to open! 

The game goes on a cycle just like real life. If its 3 pm in real life, its 3 pm in the game. If its raining in real life, its raining in the game. The game also has holidays like Halloween and Christmas! 

Animal Crossing also has a cool feature called Dream Suite. You can go to different towns and explore all being in a dream state. One of the many neat features that make this game the great game it is!

I highly recommend these two items! They're amazing 10/10 on both. I don't know if my love of cute things is impinging on my ability to rate this game realistically but I will say this:

If you don't like doing things over and over you probably won't like this game. That's really the only thing I can say to be a downside.

Anime List ♥

I've been going crazy watching all my shows recently! I thought I'd share some of my favorite anime series at the moment! I've taken the liberty to post a non spoiler summary along with the screen caps in case you all want to watch.

If you guys have any suggestions on what I should watch next please let me know!

♥Shirokuma Cafe (しろくまカフェ Shirokuma Kafe, -> Polar Bear's Café) 
     This anime revolves around the everyday lives of a group of animals mingling with humans at a café run by a polar bear. Very cute and very funny!

♥ Puella Magi Madoka Magica (魔法少女まどか☆マギカ Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magika, "Magical Girl Madoka of the Magus") An anime series about Magical Girls, sometimes it gets a little intense but it's an amazingly well written anime. 

♥ Attack on Titan (進撃の巨人 Shingeki no Kyojin, lit. "Advancing Giants") It is set in a world where humanity lives inside cities surrounded by enormous walls due to the Titans, gigantic humanoid creatures who devour humans seemingly without reason, the main characters join the Survey Corps, an elite group of soldiers who fight Titans outside the walls.

Today I went to the Dillard's New Years Day Sale! It's an amazing sale and I'd figure I'd share my haul with you.

NARS Concealer Review ♥

Today I took a little trip to Sephora to buy some new lipstick, but instead I figured I would try a new concealer. I usually buy a COVERGIRL concealer at my local drug store, so I thought I'd try something a little different. I've been hearing a lot of good news about NARS concealer. I haven't really tried their concealers or foundations but I am a very big fan of their blushes and said "What the heck, this can't disappoint!" It cost 28$ and I got it for 31$ (plus tax).

I got a perfect fit for my skin tone which is Custard, kind of a funny name huh? I was surprised how well it covers blemishes!

Apart from coming in a cute little container, it's not in a tube. I don't get why make up companies put concealers in tubes! Theres a point where all the concealer that's left is left on the sides which you can't get out. At least with this rectangular container you have more of an angle to get more out of your concealer.

I am very pleased with this product! It covers beautifully, which I need. If you have dark circles under your eyes like I do, this works wonders. It's creamy and light. If you are blessed with good skin, this is probably all you'll need to put on before your powder for a cute, quick look.

I'm so happy I decided to get this, it's amazing. For 28$, I think it's a good investment. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to fully cover blemishes and especially dark circles. Way to go NARS! 

Instax Mini 8 Review ♥

 

Today I went on a little outing with my boyfriend and best friend, and I took the opportunity to test out my new camera out for a test run. I was really excited to check out just what this super cute camera can do!

 First of all, look how adorable this little camera is!

It's very compact and not heavy at all, making it a perfect travel buddy. It's super easy to manage, even if the instructions all come in Japanese...

This camera comes with 5 exposure settings. The camera itself will tell you what setting you should have it on depending on the light in the area. Theres a setting for indoor lighting, cloudy lighting, bright lighting, super bright lighting, and "Hi-Key" which just softens and brightens the image. It's neat because you don't need to have a trained eye to pick out what exposure setting to use!

The back of the camera has a counter of how much film you have left. FujiFilm Instax Mini 8's film comes in packs of 10. Everytime you take a photo, the number goes down.

Now here's the thing about this particular model. Like most polaroid cameras, the view finder, or what you look into to see your shot is on one side of the camera. And the actual lens is on the other side. This can cause a distorted image when you take your shot. For example, what you thought was pretty centered, can be really crooked. This is tricky but you don't want to lose film, right? So every time you're about to take a photo, I suggest you move it slightly to the left to compensate.

The film is what I absolutely love about this camera. They're credit card sized (Hence the "Mini") I just think it's the cutest thing ever.

Taking pictures with this camera is really fun and I'm very glad I have such a cool camera. I highly recommend this camera if you're looking for a light, cute, easy to use camera.

Christmas Haul ♥

Merry Christmas Day everyone! I hope you all have a great day with your loved ones and I hope you all got really excited over your Christmas gifts! I know this year was really stressful in finding the perfect gift for my family and friends, but it all played out so well and I'm really glad they liked it! I thought I'd share with you the stuff that I received this year. My family and I open presents later on Christmas Eve since we all can't wait till' Christmas morning, so imagine me looking at the clock all day just itching to open my gifts. Needless to say I was so happy!!!

IB Review! ♥

Lately I've been bored out of my mind, with being out of school and all, and I really needed a distraction. Something that I really like to do is play games! I recently "binge played" Ib, a horror-esque RPG game. My first impression on this game before playing it was how interesting the story line was. Basically it's about this little girl who somehow gets herself lost in a crazy, possessed version of the museum she was visiting earlier with her parents. Our heroine, Ib, has to fight her way through a bunch of interesting scenarios and puzzles with her companion Garry. Screen caps below!
